Add a chat to XenForo

Get your snippet

Sign up, enter the address of the site, and Flyzoo generates the Application ID. If you already have an account, open the dashboard and use Add website instead.

Copy it

It is one block, and the only part specific to you is the Application ID in the first line.

Paste it into XenForo

Appearance → Templates → PAGE_CONTAINER, and paste the snippet immediately before </body>.

Edit it on the style you actually serve. A customised child style does not inherit a change made to the parent after the child was forked.

Reload the page

The dock appears in the bottom corner and you are set as the site’s administrator. Everything after this — rooms, colours, moderation, operators — is in the dashboard.
