Add a chat to BuddyPress
BuddyPress is WordPress, so the WordPress install applies unchanged.
Get your snippet
Sign up, enter the address of the site, and Flyzoo generates the Application ID. If you already have an account, open the dashboard and use Add website instead.
Copy it
It is one block, and the only part specific to you is the Application ID in the first line.
<script> (function () { window._FlyzooApplicationId = "YOUR-APPLICATION-ID"; var fz = document.createElement('script'); fz.type = 'text/javascript'; fz.async = true; fz.src = '//widget.flyzoo.co/scripts/flyzoo.start.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(fz, s); })(); </script>Paste it into BuddyPress
Same as WordPress: the plugin, or the snippet in your theme’s footer.php before </body>.
Flyzoo reads the signed-in WordPress user, so members are already identified in chat — you do not need a second login. See single sign-on.
Reload the page
The dock appears in the bottom corner and you are set as the site’s administrator. Everything after this — rooms, colours, moderation, operators — is in the dashboard.
There is also a plugin: Flyzoo for WordPress
The WordPress plugin covers BuddyPress; there is no separate one.
