Add a chat to Jimdo

A Widget/HTML element in the site-wide footer area.

  1. Get your snippet

    Sign up, enter the address of the site, and Flyzoo generates the Application ID. If you already have an account, open the dashboard and use Add website instead.

  2. Copy it

    It is one block, and the only part specific to you is the Application ID in the first line.

  3. Paste it into Jimdo

    Add an element → Widget/HTML, and place it in the footer so it appears on every page.

  4. Reload the page

    The dock appears in the bottom corner and you are set as the site’s administrator. Everything after this — rooms, colours, moderation, operators — is in the dashboard.
